Art From The Heart . . .

From Los Angeles, CA to Hattieville, AR . . .

Our Sister-City Project is Bridging Hearts Thru Art!

The Sister-City Art from the Heart initiative is a cross-country community arts program designed to unite diverse populations through the universal language of creativity.

Bridging Hearts Thru Art!

Bridging Hearts is a cross-country community arts collaboration connecting Los Angeles, CA, and Hattieville, AR, through the creative partnership of a mother-and-son artist team. This intergenerational project uses art to strengthen family bonds, foster cultural understanding, and unite communities beyond borders.

Touching lives through Art . . .

Art Studio in LA

Located in the world renowned Brewery, just north of Downtown Los Angeles’ vibrant Arts District, Life Is Studio is where art, culture, and community come together. Our bright, open studio invites artists, neighbors, and visitors to create, connect, and be inspired.

We host art exhibitions, hands-on workshops, youth programs, and collaborative projects that celebrate the energy and diversity of LA’s Arts District. Whether you’re an artist looking for space to grow, a student eager to learn, or a visitor exploring the city’s creative pulse, Life Is Studio is your destination for authentic artistic expression and community connection.

Art and the Un-Housed

On September 25, 2025 a collaborative art installation, created by Crushow (LA's Art Director), and a team of involved artists (@coralzoa @summershotit @mr.seaweedbatiz and others from the community), was unveiled.

This historic mural project helped to transform the Umeya Rice Cake Company factory and warehouse into 175 deeply affordable and permanent supportive housing units with community, commercial, and service provider spaces. See more at <HERE>.

Art Experience in Arkansas

Art Experience in Arkansas

Immerse yourself in the creative spirit of The Barnyard, our serene farm studio where art and nature live in harmony. Nestled among whispering trees, this inspiring haven invites you to slow down, create, and connect.

Surrounded by our joyful menagerie of animals —  our Barnyard Crew of playful goats, curious chickens, a gentle horse, cheerful ducks, and more — every visit to The Barnyard becomes an experience of imagination and peace.

Whether you come to paint, photograph, or simply breathe in the beauty of rural life, including enjoying our tranquil campsites, The Barnyard offers a space where creativity roams as freely as the animals that call it home.

New "Color ME Powerful" Series is Launched!

As the first creative piece from our Color Me Powerful series, "The Sidewalk Cru" was developed by our LA Arts Director, Crushow. The Sidewalk Cru is an innovative coloring book and creative learning tool designed to empower young people and adults through art, storytelling, and self-expression.
